We want each one to have a positive experience that motivates them to come back again and again for the high-quality that they deserve. One of the primary ways in which we strive to enhance the patient experience is via advanced dental technology. Learn more about the benefits of the remarkable tools we’ve invested in to protect your smile and strengthen your trust in us.

Safety and Diagnosis

Some patients are leery of dental X-rays because they’re concerned about radiation. However, there is no need to worry because we use state-of-the-art digital X-rays, which use significantly less radiation than their traditional counterparts. In fact, they’re safe even for children and pregnant women as long as all proper precautions are observed.

X-rays are an important diagnostic tool, but so is our advanced cavity detection system. It allows us to spot even the earliest signs of tooth decay so we can stop dental health problems before they start to cause you pain.

Comfort

If you’ve ever had to get an impression of your teeth taken, you may recall an uncomfortable and messy experience. That awkwardness is a thing of the past thanks to our advanced digital impression system. We simply move a handheld device around the mouth, which captures a series of images of your teeth. Then, a computer assembles them into an accurate 3D rendering of your mouth.

Our soft tissue laser also enhances patient comfort. When we are performing gum treatments, the laser can precisely attack harmful bacteria and remove unhealthy tissue. Because the laser cauterizes as it goes, healing time is quick, and the entire procedure is relatively painless.

Information

We feel it is important that our patients have the information they need to make confident, wise decisions about their treatment. That is why we use intraoral cameras. This type of device displays live images of your mouth on a nearby monitor. Not only does this allow us to spot and diagnose problems, but we can also use the images to clearly explain why we recommend certain treatments.

Our PreVu imaging system is yet another example of how our technology helps us communicate as your cosmetic dentist in Springfield. It can give you a realistic preview of what your smile will look like after a procedure. If you don’t like what you see, we can make adjustments to your treatment plan.

Precision

If you need oral surgery, such as wisdom teeth extractions or dental implant placement, we’ll use our CT Cone Beam Scanner to capture a 3D rendering of your oral structures. Thus, we’ll be able to plan your surgery in a way that minimizes the chance for errors and sets you up for a successful, relatively comfortable procedure.

Dental technology is amazing, and we strive to use it to your best advantage. If you’d like to learn more about the tools in our office, we invite you to stop in for a visit!
